2 Years Blogging

161 posts on, it’s 2 years today since I launched the blog.

12 months ago I marked the occasion by posting ‘A Year In The Blogosphere’, where I cover much of the background stuff that I might have included here, so rather than repeating myself, I refer you back to there:

Although, as I outlined last year, the blog can be pretty time-consuming, and would be even more so but for the assistance of Dan Smith, who also plays a big role over at www.electrofunkroots.co.uk, it’s become a key part of what I do, complimenting my work as a DJ. It’s always good when people I meet in the clubs tell me they’re not only into the music I play, but also the content on my blog – it’s this type of feedback that makes all the effort worthwhile.

My intention is to continue to post on at least a once weekly average, although, given all my increasing commitments, not least the recording project I’ve resolved to develop this year, it’s going to be a tough schedule. I’ve slightly cut down on my DJ bookings, to help create the necessary space, so, fingers crossed, I can fit everything in.

I hope that visitors to the blog, especially newcomers, make full use of the index categories and take time to explore the archive. Thanks to all who’ve left comments, providing so many insightful additions to the original posts – keep them coming, your contributions are always appreciated.
