Peza

The assured speed at which he strips a track down to its core and rebuilds it in his own way, has served him well since he returned to music within the re-edits movement, having released two albums in the 1990s as the keyboardist in Gravity Wheel, who amalgamated dance music with live guitars and drums. Family life would eventually take over, his musical ambitions on the backburner, until the pull of the edits scene was too strong. Returning on form, he followed up on his reworking of Garbage’s ‘Stupid Girl’ with a colossal version of ‘Being Boiled’ by Human League – both of which received big support from Greg Wilson, and were subsequently released on Dicky Trisco’s Autodiscothèque as ‘Buddha’s Watching’ / ‘S.T.U.P.I.D’. Other big reworking followed and his reworks of Sister Sledge, Gina X, The Blackbyrds and Placebo were released on A&R edits as ‘No Changes’, C’est La Vie Ma Cherie’, Moving In Sound’ and ‘Days Dawning respectively. Peza has also been instrumental to Greg’s Super Weird Substance, as remixer, programmer and instrumentalist; working on a number of tracks for the label, whilst offering his own acid version of Blind Arcade’s ‘The Construct’.
