I hadn’t planned it that way, but it turned out to be a nice touch that the ‘Abbey Road’ listening session fell in the same week as John Lennon’s 70th birthday anniversary.
Cosmo’s ‘Classic Album Sunday’ in London, which I mentioned in last month’s update, proved to be a big success. The Word Magazine headed along to cover it, so that should help spread the vibe further. There’s also a strong possibility of a similar audiophile session being held in Glasgow, as well as London, next month – I’ll keep you posted. Cosmo explains the ‘Classic Album Sunday’ set-up in the comments section (linked below). There are also the impressions of others who shared the ‘Abbey Road’ experience:

Next stop for Living To Music is Kate Bush, one of the quintessential English artists, with her remarkable ‘Hounds Of Love’ on Sunday November 7th. Your help in spreading the word via Facebook, Twitter, Text, Email etc, is, as always, appreciated.
It is, of course, important that people interested in participating refer to the original blog post, which gives the full lowdown, including the guidelines – here’s the link:
